Today, DTSK, UDPK, and CBM Global convened a collaborative workshop aimed at reviewing and refining the Easy Read version of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025. This session brought together key stakeholders committed to strengthening disability inclusion and ensuring that the law is fully accessible to every person it seeks to protect.

Analyse the Knowledge Gap Report, identifying areas where awareness and understanding remain limited

Review the current Easy Read draft, assessing clarity, structure, and visual accessibility

Discuss practical strategies for making the Act easier to navigate for persons with intellectual, sensory, and psychosocial disabilities
The Easy Read format plays a crucial role in bridging understanding—transforming complex legal text into simple language supported by clear visuals. This ensures that all persons with disabilities can access, understand, and meaningfully engage with the law.
