DLAC, through its CEO Ms. Emily Muriguh participated in the review of implementation of the commitments made by both Kenya and non-state actors in Kenya at the 2018 & 2022 Global Disability Summit. The review meeting held on 18th July 2023 was hosted by the Directorate of Social Development of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
DLAC applauded the Ministry’s initiative to re-stablish the Disability Inter-Agency Coordinating Committee (IAAC) whose overarching objective is to facilitate effective implementation of the disability agenda in Kenya.
